Justice for DC promotes a cooperative, just, and equitable society based on democratic principles. We believe society must prioritize human needs including housing, health, education, community safety, nourishment, justice, and connection, and not individual accumulation of wealth for a few.
We are dedicated to social welfare and we organize with community stakeholders in the city of Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area. We educate and advocate for policies and structures including ending militarism, police terror, and community violence; the promotion of social, racial, and economic justice; and the creation of equity in areas of life including housing, health, and education.
We accomplish this through research, education, community mobilization, building grassroots coalitions, and voter engagement.

Justice for DC is a registered 501(c)(4) which operates in Washington, DC. We advocate for legislation, regulations, and government programs that promote economic, racial, and social justice. We conduct research on the positions of elected officials concerning these issues and engage in educational activity to raise public awareness and civic engagement.
